Starting With Zero Visitors To My Blog

The early days of starting a blog can be really frustrating. I have spent many hours setting up the structure of my blog and have managed to post one article on it.

So far, I have Zero Visitors to my blog, as I have not posted any links to my Social Media accounts. I want to see how long it takes to get the first 10 visitors to my blog.

Is It Possible To Get Blog Visitors With Relying On Social Media?

I will be posting articles written on the fly with little focus on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I will not be posting links to my Social Media accounts accounts. I want to see how long it takes for Google to ranks my posts with little SEO and no links on Social Media.

Once I have over 10 unique visitors, I will start focusing more on SEO and also promoting my blog using Social Media.

I know this seems a little crazy, but I have made a decision to conduct this experiment. The tiles of the post are random and the content is created on the fly. I am actually writing these posts, they are not AI generated.

I wonder how long it will take for people to start reading my blog posts. If you are reading this post, please leave a comment in the comments section below. This will prove that the traffic is a result of a real visitor and not a bot.

I started the blog with the comments section disabled, I have now decided to allow comments to get feedback on the posts.

I Will Be Using Google Analytics To View My Blog Traffic

I am the Site Kit plugin to look at the stats. I have posted a screen shot of the traffic displaying 0 visitors on the 8th of November 2023. Let’s see how long it takes to get to the first 10 visitors.

I am start building backlinks once I get to 10 unique visitors. I will have to wait and see it it is possible to get to 10 unique visitors with little SEO, no Backlinks and Social Media posts.

This is the approach that will be used by someone new to blogging, without any training in SEO and blog ranking tools and techniques.

Let Me Make Some Mistakes In The Early Days

I want to make some deliberate mistakes in the early days to prove a point. I am not following the advice and training offered at Wealthy Affiliate. I am using only the hosting, this is what is provided by other web hosting companies. They offer no training and tools to build an affiliate marketing blog.

Is it possible to create a successful affiliate marketing blog with out any expert training and support?

I will get my answer very soon. I will wait until the 17th of November 2023 to analyse the results. Back in the early days of the internet, it was easier to get your blog posts ranked.

You could write posts on the fly and get them ranked on Google without paying much attention to SEO. The algorithm used by Google to rank blog posts has made it harder to write posts in a natural language.

In this present time, you need to pay attention to SEO requirements and write according to these rules. You cannot write in a conversational natural language, as if you are speaking to a friend or colleague.

I am writing this post as an experiment, but I will start following SEO guidelines in my future posts. I have started to pick up some good SEO tips from the training offered at Wealth Affiliate.

What Is The Ideal Length For A Blog Post?

Any blog post below 1,000 words will not get noticed by Google. You could get away with 400 to 500 words back in the day. Your posts need to be over 1,500 words to have a chance at getting indexed and ranked by Google.

I am not an expert at ranking blog posts, as I am still learning the process and the discovering many ideas and concepts. It is recommended that your initial 10 blog posts are over 2,500 words in length to establish your niche.

It takes time and effort to write over 2,500 words, this is the reason that many bloggers have started to rely on AI to write their posts. Google initially disliked AI generated posts, but now it is allowing them if they are useful and unique.

AI may be the way forward, but I’m an old school guy, I like to convey my own unique thoughts in my blog posts. This is the reason my blog posts are shorter. I aim to write over 1,000 words in my blog posts.

My posts are unique and not overly optimised for Google. These initial post have little SEO embedded within them, but they convey my unique thoughts.

I have installed the All In One SEO Plugin on my blog. The above numbers need to turn green for my post to have a change of getting ranked. As you can see it is still orange, as I am not taking SEO into much consideration.

The plugin suggest that the title will not get ranked as it is scored only 51 out of 100. The body of the post is scored 73 out of 100.

The title need to score over 70 and the body needs to score over 80 to have a change of getting ranked on Google.

I will make sure that this post is over 1,500 words in length for Google to take a look at it. I will know the results of not following SEO guidelines within a few days.

Capturing Leads In To My Email List

I will set up an email list using GetResponse and start capturing leads. I will offer the people on my list the opportunity to build a monthly passive income using the internet. There will be many tools, techniques and opportunities offered. Some will be free and other will have a paid option.

I will also offer motivational and inspirational ebooks and audio to my subscribers. There is a lot planned for this blog, my goal is to take as many people on the journey towards creating financial freedom as possible.

I know that the more people that I can help, the more I will be rewarded. This is the universal law of compensation.

It’s A Lonely Journey In The Beginning

This digital wealth building journey is lonely at the beginning. I am starting out with zero contacts on my email list and zero traffic to my blog. The only way is up, as I cannot go into negative figures!

How long will it take me to build a monthly passive income of over $5,000?

The above is a baseless question, like how long is a piece of string?

It all depends on my belief and the actions that I take. I believe that I will be able to do it in under 12 months. Some people may believe that they will be able to reach over $5,000 monthly in under 6 months, other will believe that it will take them over 24 months.

I have made a decision to go all out for 12 months to reach my goal of earning over $5,000 monthly is passive income using the internet.

I only have a few hours to spare during the week, as I work over 60 hours daily. Creating this blog has given me something to look forward to. They are not offering me the corner office with a bird’s eye view of London with a monthly 6 figure salary!

I need to take action to escape the rat race. This blog is my chosen vehicle to do it. My passion will fuel this vehicle and drive me to financial freedom.

It feels like a lonely race, but I am confident others will join me as the race progresses. Most people have settled for the mediocre existence that they have drifted into. I am looking for like minded people who have had enough and want to break free from the chains of trading time for money.

I am writing this blog post at 02:28 am on my laptop on my kitchen table whilst most people are fast asleep. It is cold and lonely, but I am will to make the sacrifice to get out of the nightmare of living payday to payday.

If it’s to be, it’s up to me… and I am will to put in my 100% to reach my goal of getting to $5,000 monthly and them working to wards creating real financial freedom.

Let me leave you with a question….

How much money would you need to earn monthly to enable you to leave your current employment?
